Learn from an Experienced Project Manager, not a Professional Trainer
This course is led by a practicing project manager with 30+ years of experience, not just a professional trainer. Your instructor holds PMI-ACP and CSM certifications, is a PMI LIMC program graduate, serves as an SME for ProjectManagement.com, and is the co-author of Healthcare Project Management (1st & 2nd editions).
Join our class and discover why PM One is the premier PMP Prep Course provider in South Carolina!
Remember, we conduct private PMP and/or PM 101 (introduction to project management) on-site classes!
Contact us today to find out more information about having a private class for your company.
Unlike exam prep courses, like our PMP or PMI-ACP courses, this 2-day course is primarily hands on activities that connect the theory of project management techniques with real, hands on practice.
This class was designed as an entry level course to introduce PM concepts but frequently many of our attendees are PMPs!! These PMPs have the required experience to sit for the exam but may not have always done things "the right way", and they attend this course to learn more about how to actually perform many of the processes defined in PMI's Process Practice Guide.
Our PM 101 courses are only taught as private classes and require a minimum of 12 students and a maximum of 24 students. The first day is dedicated to teaching concepts (and practicing them in fun ways!) while the second day is dedicated to working in teams to plan a project using the tools and techniques learned on the first day.
Concepts taught include various ways to collect and prioritze ideas, risk management, lessons learned, teamwork, WBS development, schedules, and the various tools/techniques reqwuired to be successful in using them.
PM One provides professional consulting services to organizations setting up, reorganizing/repairing, and/or maturing a PMO (project management office).
Regardless of where your PMO sits on the maturity scale, PM One can assist with moving your team to the next level.
In collaboration with NexusBio Partners, we also provide interim, fractional, and full or part time program and project management professionals for any business, from healthcare to drug development to manufacturing -- we have the expertise you need to move your PMO to the next step or to just keep your critical programs and projects on track.
Whether you need a role to be temporarily filled while you recruit a full time employee, or just need fractional (part time) assistance in a program manager, project manager, PMO leader, or other project-related change leader, PM One can provide you with the experience and expertise you need.
